1. Which of your products are effective against Coronavirus?

None of our current products are effective against Coronavirus. The current specific Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is not available for commercial testing yet. 2. What kind of cleaning practices can I carry out in my household which contribute to hygiene?

The effective way to contribute to hygiene is to have good cleaning habits. The surfaces where hygiene practices are most important are the hands, hand contact surfaces, food contact surfaces and cleaning clothes. Therefore, please pay attention to good hand hygiene, wash your hands frequently and if necessary, use a hand disinfectant. In terms of cleaning surfaces and clothes in your household, increasing the frequency of regular cleaning and laundering can contribute to hygiene.

3. Which products do you recommend for cleaning surfaces in the household?

There are two areas at home, where hygiene of surfaces is very important: kitchen and bathroom. In general, using a disinfectant product wherever possible is a good choice.

In case that you choose a biocidal product for cleaning, be aware of using it safely and always read the label and product information before use. Furthermore, please check the material compatibility of your surface beforehand.

Recommended products are:

For a deep cleaning of the inside of the toilet bowl use a bleach containing cleaner (e.g. Bref 10x Effect toilet gel Ultra white) or a strong toilet cleaner (e.g. Bref 10x Effect toilet gel with colour change technology). Make sure to use the products in accordance with the usage guidance provided on the label.

Also, the toilet brush should be cleaned regularly. In case of a person with health issues at home, it is recommended to clean the toilet lid after each visit as well.

4. Which products do you recommend for doing the laundry in the household?

For your laundry we recommend using the laundry detergents according to the given use instructions, ideally at the highest recommended detergent dosage, in long washing cycles and at highest recommended / possible temperatures preferably above 60°C. For best results use our Dynamo Professional with Odour Eliminating Technology liquid laundry detergent with the Sard Super Power Stain Remover Soaker. Please also refer to the care labels of your clothes for feasibility. After washing garments shouldn’t stay wet for a long time. Using tumble dryers or drying clothes outside in the sun will help to support better hygienic conditions. Leave the door of your washing machine open, so that also the machine can dry. To help support better washing conditions, clean your washing machine on a regular basis (every second week), ideally with Sard Super Power Stain Remover Soaker at high temperatures (higher than 60°C) to remove biofilms and microorganisms in the appliance.
